Danny & John

DJ Durepoxy Coatings is an Alberta company specializing in epoxy flooring, professional floor coating systems, and Rubber Pavement — installing epoxy, polyaspartic, decorative flake, metallic, garage, shop, basement, and commercial systems, plus Rubber Pavement for exterior surfaces.

The company was founded by Danny and John with a clear standard: prepare the floor properly, recommend the right system for the space, and complete each project with discipline, detail, and long-term use in mind.

Founder-Led Standards. Professional Floor Coating Results.

Danny and John built the company around the belief that strong results come from strong foundations. That applies to the floors they install and the business they are building.

Every project starts below the surface. The concrete needs to be assessed, prepared, repaired, and matched with the right coating system before the final finish goes down. The goal is not just to make a floor look better on day one — the goal is to create a floor coating system that suits the space, supports daily use, and gives the customer a result that feels worth the investment.

Working Principles

  1. 01Inspect first
  2. 02Prepare correctly
  3. 03Match the system to the space
  4. 04Install with discipline
  5. 05Finish for real use

Why Preparation Matters

A floor coating is only as strong as the surface underneath it. Before a coating system is installed, the concrete needs to be assessed and prepared. Cracks, edges, surface wear, old coatings, contamination, and overall concrete condition can all affect the final result. The final finish is what people see first. The preparation underneath is what helps make it last.

Built for Homes, Shops, and Businesses

DJ Durepoxy Coatings works with homeowners, acreage owners, business owners, contractors, property managers, and customers who want a better finish for their concrete floors.

Some customers want a garage that feels cleaner and more complete. Some need a shop floor that can support regular work. Others want a basement, showroom, or commercial space with a sharper, more professional look — or an outdoor space like a playground, tennis court, or recreational area finished with Rubber Pavement. DJ Durepoxy Coatings helps customers choose a finish that fits the surface, the use, and the result they want.
